Why do students procrastinate?

Students are Lazy. This is absolutely the number one reasons students procrastinate. When kids do this there is never any consequences. Teachers just let them get by with the bare minimum and no quality work is accomplished.

If I could change Education, I would...

Make Children understand the importance of Education. Our Society is on the verge of crashing and in desperate need of divine intervention. I see a generation that is desperate for some answers. We need to instill work ethic and determination in children from the time they can speak. A problem now with the public school system is that it is filled with kids who think they can just skid by and teachers will pass them and ultimately be handed a Diploma to get them out of the way. We need to change this right away.

My First Week as a Teacher...

On my first day in this kindergarten class this year i was so excited! I spent last year in the same class so i knew what to expect! All of the kids were precious! I feared that my experience this year wouldn't compare to last year. Fortunatly i was wrong. This year has started in a great direction!

Senior Year

As I see my last year of high school creep around the corner I am overwhelmed with many different emotions. In 1999 I started Kindergarten. Starting Kindergarten was the most exciting thing to happen to me, I was so ready to start this 13 year journey of education! Now- it's almost done. That's it. All of the people that have become my family in the past 13 years will be starting their lives, and so will I. I remember thinking I couldn't wait to grow up and have a career and family, and now thats right at my finger tips. I'm excited to see how my fantasy life will unfold. All theses years were spent preparing for the perfect little life I created in my head and now I will be able to witness the real deal. Will it really turn out like I thought?
