Please click here to see my end of the year Animoto Video! I hope you enjoy, I sure did.
As my time at NRE ended I was very sad. Those kids have impacted my life in a way that no other people can do. They are innocent and loving. I tried to hold back the tears as i hugged their little necks. As they asked me if I was going to be in 1st grade, I tried not to loose myself.

Three more mondays!
Well folks, it's almost a wrap. After 2 years of being part of this internship I know I have found my calling. There is no doubt in my mind that I could teach kids everyday for the rest of my life. I find such a joy in children, they never fail to make me smile. As this years ends, I am very sad to leave my kiddos. I am leaving this certain that I have chosen a happy future.

What Teachers Want Parents to Know
Teachers need parents to understand that the responsibilty for their child's education doesn't rely soley on the teacher. Disiplines need to brought to the home too.
Also, they need to know that not everything is the teachers fault, sometimes their child may behave differently than they say.
That the parents and teachers need to be on the same page.

Edutopia
After veiwing this Edutopia, it makes me begin to think....
What if math was taught in a way that I understood it? If someone took tha time and the resources to teach me in a creative way...who knows... I might like it?
Science is so important and I feel like if I were taught in a different way I wouldn't be so scared of it.
I feel like I have a general knowledge of money management but couyld learn so much more.
I definatly think that if I had been taught Financial Literacy I would be MUCH better off!

The Rules
The Ron Clark Academy has Developed their set of the "Essential 55" classroom rules. For my classroom my top 5 rules would be as follows:
1. Love conquers all.
2. Everyone is an expert in something.
3. Don't limit yourself to what you have done in the past.
4. Practice makes permanent.
5. "Don't nobody love nobody"
